Nomar Returns to Boston

In the biggest non-story of the year, Nomar Garciaparra will make his first appearance at Fenway Park since being traded on July 31, 2004.
That day being the day that catapulted the Red Sox towards their first World Series in Boston since 1918.
Nomar Garciaparra 1997-2003 was great.
2004-Nomar was easily the player I disliked the most since I began watching the Red Sox in the mid-80’s as a kid. Nomar whined, pouted, sulked, and quit on his team. They dealt him and I was pumped!
If there were a standing ovation for him tonight, I would be surprised. If he pulls a hamstring during warmups, I would not.
